The Dragon Pool
The hot pools of Papillote were created by hand, but they are fed by a constant stream of volcanic mineral water that flows from natural springs at the back of the plateau above Damsel Falls.

Grand stone statues of Iguanas and a Grouper Fish covered in a patchwork quilt of moss and lichens stand guard over two of our four pools.

The largest hot pool is in a grotto by L’Iviere Seyo Waterfall and has a small cold river pool adjacent. It can comfortably accommodate ten to fifteen adults, while the smallest, the Iguana pool, is just right for two and ideal for soothing aching muscles after a hike to the Boiling Lake. The third, the Grouper pool is hidden like a cave on the veranda adjacent to Suites #11 and #12. Fourth, the Restaurant pool, is open to the public throughout the day.

We have also developed various other water features throughout the garden, all designed to provide our guests with a truly unique, relaxing and healthful experience.
